Checking into a hotel is a unique and exciting experience. As you step into the lobby, you can feel the energy and the buzz of the other guests.
From Monday to Thursday the Hilton DoubleTree is occupied by over 300 students and staff that make up Camp Orlando, but the rest of the resort consists of many people who share the hotel with students.
In addition to journalism enthusiasts roaming the halls, the AME church is concurrently hosting a christian education conference.
Jupiter and Wiregrass aren’t the only schools with spirit at the Hilton. Spirit Airlines is also holding classes at the hotel as part of their flight attendant training program. Many employees and applicants are in attendance, studying to become permanent members of the airline.
Others simply enjoy relaxing at the hotel, using the sense of comfort and tranquility to catch up on some much needed rest.
Hotels bring people together, and while we’re all here for different reasons, we’re all neighbors, at least for the week.
