Tessa Sevelius, Student Life Editor
If you’re a ‘student life’ editor on your school’s yearbook staff—you focus on the people of your community. Students coming together for homecoming, pep rallies, anything social that can encompass the attention of the entire student body. Tessa Sevelius is interested in just that, a person’s own humanity, as well as the diverse life of their peers and community. She has been working as a member of Angeline High School’s yearbook since her freshman year. Now she’s a rising junior. “it’s so interesting to learn about different [people’s] beliefs and different ways that people live their lives—[I like] learning and understanding people’s ways of thinking,” Sevelius said. For her, journalism is more than writing, editing, & designing, working as a sports photographer for her publication, and basking in her own athletic inquires as a competitive dancer.
